Volunteer Toronto launched the ChariTee Design Contest to celebrate volunteers and support community. In partnership with George Brown’s School of Design, Art and Design Foundation Program, students submitted designs based on a theme of volunteerism. A panel of judges narrowed the submissions down to three final designs. The public was invited to vote on the winning design on ChariTee.ca until 5pm, Friday April 10th.
Over 10,000 votes were cast and the winning design was awarded to Tlell Davidson.
The winning ChariTee has been produced by Me to We Style, and is available for $25 online at ChariTee.ca and at various tradeshows and locations around Toronto.
Me to We Style is a social enterprise that produces custom-printed, sweatshop-free organic clothing in Canada in support of Free the Children charity. All ChariTee proceeds support Delisle Youth Services, Volunteer Toronto and Free the Children charities.
